Our Referral Rewards Program has been designed to help you introduce your friends, family, neighbors, business associates and social acquaintances to the exciting vacation lifestyle at one of the Family of Orange Lake Resorts. Your referrals will be able to visit one of our resorts by selecting from one of our specially priced accommodation packages. Best of all, by participating in our Referral Rewards Program, you will benefit by sharing your vacation resort with friends and neighbors like yourself!

The purchase of a unit or unit week should be based upon its value as a vacation experience or for spending leisure time, and not considered for investment purposes or with an expectation that the unit or unit week may be rented or resold. Owner acknowledges that the Referral Rewards Program was presented to him or her after they decided to purchase a unit or unit week. Owner also understands this program was created to offer a great way of introducing their friends, neighbors, relatives, business associates or social acquaintances to the remarkable vacation lifestyle they have chosen for their family.

The following terms and conditions contain important information regarding the Family of Orange Lake Resorts, Referral Rewards Program ("Referral Program"). Please review this information carefully.

Owner Participation/Eligibility
Participation in the Referral Program is limited to individuals who purchased timeshare interests from a Family of Orange Lake Resort, Inc. or through one of our affiliated companies.

Owners who participate in the Referral Program will be provided one account in the Referral Program even if the Owner maintains more than one timeshare interest at Orange Lake Resort & Country Club or one of our affiliated resorts.

Referral Program accounts cannot be used or accessed by multiple persons, and Owners cannot combine Referral Program accounts from separate accounts.

Each Owner agrees to provide true and accurate information to enroll and participate in the Referral Program. Owner agrees to revise his or her personal information in a timely manner to ensure that the Owner information provided in connection with the Referral Program is at all times up-to-date and accurate. Owners may update their personal information by calling the Referral department at 800-704-4376, by e-mail at Account Services, or via US mail to the Referral department at 8505 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, Florida 34747.

Owner will not engage in any activities inconsistent with this Agreement, including but not limited to, owning multiple accounts, committing any fraudulent activity, or tampering with the Referral Program materials in any way. The Family of Orange Lake Resorts will make all final decisions in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or any other violation of the Referral Program's terms and conditions. Any and all decisions made are final and binding.

The Family of Orange Lake Resorts reserves the right to disqualify any Owner from participating in the Referral Program and to refuse payment of rewards if, in its sole judgment, such Owner is not in good standing or if Owner, or any other person using Owner's account, violates any of the terms or conditions of the Referral Program, including, without limitation, engaging in fraud or other abuse.

Current and former Family of Orange Lake Resorts employees and associates or their family members, including the family members of the Family of Orange Lake Resorts affiliated companies, parent companies and subsidiaries, may not participate in the Referral Program.

Registration of Referrals:
In order to be eligible for a referral reward, owner referrals must be registered through our Referral Rewards Program prior to participating in the 2-hour sales presentation.

To register a referral, the Owner must submit the referral's name, street address, home telephone number and e-mail addresses (if available) to Orange Lake. The information can be sent via U.S. mail to: Orange Lake Resort & Country Club, c/o Referral Department, 8505 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, Florida 34747, via e-mail to referrals@orangelake.com, via fax at 407-905-1313 or by calling the Referral department at 800-704-4376.

In the event two individual owners submit an identical referral name, only the first owner to submit the name will be eligible to receive a referral reward. The name of the owner given upon the referral purchasing will supercede any previous name provided. The Family of Orange Lake Resorts retains sole authority as to determining the submission date and time of each referral name.

Owners may not refer other owners.

Referral Program Accommodation Packages:
Once enrolled, registered referrals will be personally invited to enjoy an exciting vacation accommodation package for a significantly reduced rate.

The package rates extended under the Referral Program are valid for one visit per family and household.

The package rate and all applicable federal, state and local taxes on accommodations, rewards and all other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the participants.

Referral Qualifications and Participation in the Sales Presentation:
A qualified referral is one that meets the following qualifications: new referral to Orange Lake – has not toured with us before. Must have a minimum household income of $50,000 (the combined income of unmarried persons living together can be used to determine “household” income), gainfully employed, creditworthy and possess a major international credit card. If married, engaged or living together, couples must attend sales presentation together; married persons may purchase separately. Must present personal identification such as a major international credit card and driver's license or passport at time of sales presentation so that, in the event of purchase, notary requirements can be met. No more that one referral is allowed to be on a referral promotion during the same date range at the same resort.

An owner may only have one (1) referral guest on a resort property at any given time. Group tours are prohibited.

Referral guests are required to attend a 2-hour sales presentation on the Family of Orange Lake resorts vacation ownership features, accommodations and amenities.

Reward Eligibility and Payment for Owners at the Family of Orange Lake:

Rewards Owners of the Family of Orange Lake Resorts whose referrals purchase at Orange Lake Resort:
Every time a registered referral joins in ownership at Orange Lake Resort, we'll give the referring owner a reward that will increase based on the number of referrals who purchase.

The following chart indicates the reward paid for each purchase accumulated from one through 20 in any calendar year.

Example: You refer 10 friends to visit a Family of Orange Lake Resort during the year. Seven of those families decide to join you and become owners at one of our resorts. You would receive $400 for each of the first five weeks purchased ($2,000) and $450 for each of next two week purchased ($900) for a total of $2,900.

Owners will receive one reward credit for each registered referral that purchases a timeshare unit week. In order for the referring owner to receive a reward, registered referrals must meet all financial obligations for ownership and have maintained ownership for 120 days. Owners accumulate reward credits over their entire period of ownership or through the length of this Program, but may not receive more than 20 reward credits or payments during a single calendar year. In the event a participant terminates their ownership, their reward credit balance in the Referral Program is forfeited.

In order to be eligible for a referral reward, the referral must purchase a timeshare interest during their initial visit to a Family of Orange Lake Resort. If the referral purchases a week(s) at a later date, the Owner is not eligible for the referral reward. If the referral purchases a Latitude lease program the referring owner will not be eligible for a referral reward.

Referral rewards are only granted based on full week timeshare interests purchased from a Family of Orange Lake Resort. Purchases made under our resale or in conjunction with any other marketing programs are not eligible for reward under this referral program.

Rewards for Owners at the Family of Orange Lake Resorts whose referrals tour at Orange Lake at Lake Geneva Resort:

Every time a registered qualified referral completes the 2-hour vacation ownership sales presentation at Orange Lake Resort at Lake Geneva Resort, you will receive a $100.00 tour reward as a thank you for your participation in the program within 60-days of the referrals tour date.

Rewards can be applied toward your Family of Orange Lake Resort maintenance account. In connection with the payment of a reward, the Family of Orange Lake Resorts prepares an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form 1099 to be mailed to the Owner by January 31 of the following year, and a copy is forwarded to the IRS for their records. Form 1099 will only be provided if the Owner's accumulated referral payments exceed $600. All applicable federal and state income taxes associated with the reward payment are the sole responsibility of the Owner.

Referring owners must be current on their Family of Orange Lake Resort mortgage payments, maintenance fee assessments and real estate tax assessments in order to be eligible to receive a referral reward.
